10,000 Canadians wanted for Fair Elections Act protest

Every Canadian who is concerned about democracy and fair elections in Canada, and is outraged by the Conservative's "Fair Election Act" which, in fact, is an act intended to help Conservatives and their supporters steal elections, suppress votes, increase their campaign spending, and punish Elections Canada for enforcing the law should ask to appear before the committee considering the bill: the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs (PROC).

The contact information is:

Marie-France Renaud Clerk of the Committee
Tel.: 613-996-0506 Sixth Floor,
131 Queen Street House of Commons Ottawa ON K1A 0A6
Canada Fax: 613-947-3089
E-mail: PROC@parl.gc.ca

All that's necessary is sending a quick email to Renaud asking to appear to discuss Bill C-23, the Fair Elections Act. My experience has been that if you're invited to appear, pursuant to your request, travel, accommodation, and food expenses are paid.

Let's see how many Canadians we can get to ask to appear. More than 10,000 would be grand.
