Clinton at one time had a massive lead of close to 50% or more nationally and in Nevada as well, at one time. If Clinton wins by a small percentage in Nevada tomorrow, say less than 10%, will that still be considered good for her Democratic nomination run?

Clinton was, until recently, considered to have been coronated -- the only reasonable Democratic candidate.

But Sanders has evidently soldiered on, and it looks like he's now within striking distance of Clinton.

I'd suggest that if she has any worries at all, then that probably can't be considered good for her and hers.

And hey... Go Bernie!  Bern it up!

Too-Big-to-Fail Comes Back to Haunt Hillary

The Clinton campaign mocks Sanders as a ‘one-issue’ candidate. But her Wall Street problem is back in the news, and the taint of her Goldman speeches lingers.

Clinton projected to win Nevada caucuses.

Actually it looks like Clinton presently has the lead 57 to 50

After 2 close ones, and a blowout, what is are the elected delegate totals now for each as my hunch is that Sanders might be in the lead?

Trump leading in SC and it's WTA, so if he wins does he get all the delegates? Are there 50 delegates allocated to SC?

Just what we need 2 hawks running for President.  Frown

Don't think so as Trump plans to exploit the problem for the Democrats which is that Clinton voted for going to war in Iraq.

Did Trump Finally Move Us Past Sept. 11?

Countless reasons why Trump's frontrunner status is stunning, unexpected, earth-shaking and all the rest. But I can't get past the fact that they guy who won New Hampshire and South Carolina openly and sneeringly bucked GOP orthodoxy on George W. Bush's 9/11 record. I didn't expect any Republican candidate to do that in my lifetime and win.

Hillary Clinton, With Little Notice, Vows to Embrace an Extremist Agenda on Israel  - by Glenn Greenwald

https://theintercept.com/2016/02/18/hillary-clinton-with-little-notice-v...

"Is it even physically possible to 'strengthen the US-Israel alliance' beyond what it already entails: billions of dollars in American taxplayer money transferred every year, sophisticated weapons fed to Israel as it bombs its defenceless neighbors, blindly loyal diplomatic support and protection for everything it does?

But Bill Clinton's vow of even greater support for Israel is completely consistent with what Hillary Clinton herself has been telling American Jewish audiences for months..."

There may be no better measure of the depravity of this campaign season than the realization that it’s not clear whether Trump’s overt appreciation for fascism, and his sustained salute to American racists, will have a positive or negative effect on his campaign.

As bad as the Canadian right-wing is, you have to admit it is nowhere near as bad as its American counterpart.

As if voters are going to turn to nutbars like Cruz or Rubio.

Trump has a lock on the GOP nomination unless it is rigged by the GOP establishment.

And Trump has already started saying Clinton should be in jail. Like Mulroney if you through enough mud on the walls some of it sticks.

What would be sweet karma would be to see the Republicans lose the Presidency, lose the Senate, severly reduced in the House and also lose control of SCOTUS

The Dems better start pounding away at the new GOP leader Trump day and nite from now on until voting day.

I have communicated with Mr. Chuckman, and he says that he never found the entire letter either, but there were references enough to it from sources that are generally reliable that that he believes it to be true.

What Bernie Sanders still doesn’t get about interrupting Hillary Clinton

But then, there is this: Why, at this late date and this many debates into the 2016 presidential election cycle, has Sanders made demonstrably little to no effort to alter the way he interacts with the woman he at least strongly suspected he would be running against him from the day he declared his campaign? He has almost certainly had the same advice and information that every male candidate gets about the need to be constantly mindful about coming across like a chauvinist or a bully when on a debate stage facing a female competition.

That is: Does Sanders have the capacity to recognize the way these moments look or think deeply about the degree to which sexism propels his debate-stage performances? Whether that chauvinism is real or imagined or even toyed with by his opponent for political gain, why can't Sanders find a better way to manage these moments? And, is some combination of all of the above something that a 21st-century presidential candidate has simply got to consider and manage effectively?

Does the inability or unwillingness to examine his body language, tone and actions for hints or indicators of sexism — if not real but perceived by some women — tell us all what we really need to know?

Sanders will go all the way to the convention regardless of what happens.  His delegates, which should be at least 1000, will permit him to influence the platform and Clinton's choice of running mate, should she be the nominee.  And his presence will inhibit Clinton from moving back to the middle.  Even if temporarily.

For an outsider to come in and be doing as well as Sanders is doing againt the Democratic establishment, it must be giving the Democrats concern for Clinton'a abilities during the general election, probably against Trump.

And Trump continues to be creating a GOP perfect storm, with Cruz now in the ascendency, and the GOP establishment supporting Rubio and Cruz, especially in those winner take all states.
