Hillary Clinton Tells Fight For 15: “We Need You”

In a phone message to workers gathered in Detroit, she defended the right to collectively bargain and gave shout-outs to adjunct professors and home care workers.

Here’s how Bernie Sanders could win: The one issue where Hillary’s vulnerable, and where the Tea Party might be right

Hillary Clinton addressed the Bernie issue by sounding like him in the campaign kick off yesterday. (I thought she already kicked off her campaign, how many times does she have to offically announce her run)

She sounds  populist, but she made a reference at the end of the speech that we need to talk with republicans and work with them, not just with people who we already agree with. She was clearly taking a shot at Bernie, without mentioning his name. She would never do that, that would make his threat even more real.

She reluctantly agreed that TPP needs to be discussed further more just today, on a more low profile apperance. ("I kind of fall in the group that says 'what's in it?' And 'let's make it as good as it can be, and then let's make a decision.'"

I remember in the 2008 primary, both Hillary and Barack said that they will re open NAFTA, of course, that was just populist talk. I wonder how many people will Hillary convince this time around that she is the new Elizabeth Wareen

I would feel sad for the palestinians and whistleblowers like Edward Snowden if Clinton becomes president. I dont think she is a good choice.

She is also the great supporter of gays and lesbians and transgender people, when she only decided to support same sex marriage (one and half year ago?)

It is possible for Clinton to lose in the Iowa cacus , becaase its a caucus state but I doubt Bernie really has a shot at the nomination.

That said, alot of otherwise legitimate attacks against Clinton is laced with vulgar and sexist languages, and that will turn off many people who want to see the first female president.

Just read Bob Woodward's book "Obama's Wars".

The problem with both Hillary and Jeb is that they will both cave to the war-mongering Generals although perhaps Jeb may study things a little more.

My goodness hopefully neither one of these candidates will win.

[url=http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2015/06/my-prediction-bernie-sanders-will... Zuesse: Bernie Sanders will win the White House (June 1, 2015)[/url]

Quote:

On May 12th, I presented my analysis of the polling as of that time, headlining, “The Early Signs of Whom The Next U.S. President Will Likely Be: Presidential Polls Look Confusing Regarding Bernie, But Downright Bad Regarding Hillary & All Republicans.” Based on the net-favorability ratings of candidates in the first poll that had really meaningful results on that most important of all factors (which poll had just been published), and also based on the latest available reliable poll of Americans’ ideological preferences (which had been taken in 2011, but that’s okay because ideology changes only very slowly), I concluded that Vermont U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders was likely to surprise on the upside at the start of his contest, and that, “Sanders would probably be able to crush any Republican except perhaps Rand Paul, if he were to win the Democratic primaries.” He is already surprising on the upside (though pundits haven’t yet caught on that Hillary’s a dud), and so I am now predicting that Sanders will win, first, the Democratic nomination, and then the White House. But, first, to summarize:

The crucial net favorabilities were shown and documented in that May 12th article to be outright terrible for every candidate except Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, and Bernie Sanders; they were merely bad for Walker and Rubio; and they were probably marginally good for Sanders, but the latest poll hadn’t even included Sanders’s name, and so for him I extrapolated from ideologically the only candidate, who had been named, who was at all similar to Sanders ideologically, and this was Elizabeth Warren; and she had a slightly positive net favorability rating, which was by far the best of any of the named candidates (either male or female). Based on information that I’ve been provided access to, she will not be entering the contest, and Senator Sanders will be the only progressive candidate running in the Democratic primaries.

The 2011 ideological poll showed that of the five ideological orientations that were named, the one with the highest net-favorability — the ratio of “positive” to “negative” ratings — by the American public, was “Progressive,” at 67%/22%, or 3.05; and the second-highest was “Conservative,” at 62%/30%, or 2.07. Like Senator Warren, Senator Sanders is one of the U.S. Senate’s three leading (if not the Senate’s only three) progressives. He clearly represents the most-widely-shared ideology: progressivism. If he wins the Democratic nomination, then the nation will be in for its first clear ideological choice since 1932 in a two-major-Party contest between a progressive Democrat versus a conservative Republican. That time it was FDR versus Herbert Hoover. Of course, FDR won.

In a letter to prominent Jewish leaders, Hillary Rodham Clinton expressed her “alarm” over calls to boycott Israeli products to push Israel to improve its dealings with the Palestinians.

Mrs. Clinton has largely avoided discussion of foreign policy in her early months on the campaign trail. But in the July 2 letter, whose recipients included some of the biggest donors to her campaigns and a “super PAC” supporting her, the former secretary of state said the Boycott, Sanctions and Divestment, or B.D.S., campaign against Israel was “the latest effort to single out Israel on the world stage.”

The letter was provided to news organizations by a public relations firm working for Haim Saban, a prominent Clinton donor who has been particularly outspoken in opposition to the divestment movement. A Clinton spokeswoman said the letter was also sent to other prominent pro-Israel leaders, many of them leaders of large Jewish nonprofit organizations.

Mrs. Clinton called for a bipartisan effort to “make countering B.D.S. a priority” and said she sought the recipients’ advice on “how we can work together — across party lines and with a diverse array of voices — to reverse this trend.”

Mr. Saban, the Hollywood mogul behind the Power Rangers fortune, who also owns a majority stake in Univision, has expressed concern about the current negotiations with Iran and other issues involving Israel. Mr. Saban, who has contributed at least $2 million to a “super PAC” backing Mrs. Clinton, also spoke at an anti-B.D.S. conference in Las Vegas in June hosted by Sheldon Adelson, a casino billionaire and leading Republican donor.

Nevertheless, at a campaign rally on Saturday in Hanover, N.H., Mrs. Clinton reiterated her support for President Obama’s framework for a deal to curtail Iran’s nuclear program — but she  called the country “the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism.”

Hillary Clinton's Top Advisor Defends Claims that Israel is Nazi Germany and Israelis Must Leave Israel

http://pamelageller.com/2015/07/hillary-clinton-top-advisor-defends-clai...

"Are wealthy quisling Jews going to further undermine the Jewish state and its people and support this pro-'palestinian' radical? While Politico rants and raves that Hillary Clinton will be good for Israel, what's been overlooked is that her closest advisor, SIDNEY BLUMENTHAL, defends claims that Israel is Germany, and Israelis must leave Israel.

In her secret emails, Sid Blumenthal was essentially running the State Department from outside the government. In repeated 'confidential' emails, Sidney Blumenthal provides advice to Hillary on conflicts all over the world. Blumenthal repeatedly stands against Israel. In fact, he is also a fierce defender of his anti-Israel son, MAX BLUMENTHAL, who is an activist solely devoted to harming the Jewish people.

Sources in the know indicate that one of Hillary Clinton's other longtime advisors and associates is extremist New Israel Fund supporter Karen R Adler."

Bernie Sanders: Anti-Russian Propaganda and 'Vermont Socialism'  -  by Caleb Maupin

"The presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders - an anti-Russia, Israel-supporting politician from Vermont - revives an archaic feud among leftists. The old debate about 'sewer socialism' is back.

Senator Sanders is running for president, and openly describes himself as a 'socialist'. Despite using this word to describe himself, with many well intentioned anti-capitalist activists supporting him, Sanders platform in reality articulates a strategy for strengthening global monopoly capitalism and its expanding militarism..."
