Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois donates G-G prize to group fighting TransCanada pipeline

Former student movement spokesperson Gabriel-Nadeau Dubois is donating his Governor General's award prize money to "Coule pas chez nous", a grassroots group fighting the TransCanada pipeline.

CBC Montreal interview with Mike Finnerty: http://www.cbc.ca/player/Radio/Local+Shows/Quebec/Daybreak+Montreal/ID/2...

So far, his donation has been more than doubled at the website "Doublons la Mise" https://doublonslamise.com/

His prize was $25,000, and the total right now is $185,186 $204,298!!

GND is my hero. He never sold out like the two charlatans (Martine and Léo). He may actually be the genuine article. Good role model for QC youth.

BRAVO BRAAVO BRAVO!

Is that money going to a number of groups? Or just one?

A great problem to have.

lagatta

It is one grassroots group that is a coalition of local groups.

Just to wrap this thread up, - when they closed GND's fund-raiser after a week,- the total raised stood at $385,033!!!

(Now just waiting for Vivian Krause to announce that she has proof that its all from left-wing US foundations.)

Yes, sherpa-finn. A true example of where the left - or rather social and environmental movements - have "gone right", or rather "correct". And it has nothing to do with any electoral party!
