Help? Where do I start?

So, to start this off, I am so sorry if this is not appropriate for this forum. I just want to say I have been supportive of sex workers' rights and making the industry safer for a long time.

So I've decided... to become a sex worker. An escort, specifically. I live in Toronto and I am having a hell of a time figuring out where to start. I have a profile on AdultWork, various other escorting ad sites and have emailed every agency I can think of that I am appropriate for... nothing. I am at a loss of what to do. I'm a beautiful girl who just wants to make it in the sex industry and I am at a stand still, boohoooo.

The reason why I chose to post here is because I am a part of SAAFE's forum (UK sex workers message board) and I haven't been able to find anything even remotely like it for Canadians or sex workers in Toronto. I do not want to start on the streets because I have the luxury and privilege of an apartment (with roommates, so no incalls), internet and a phone. But nobody from the agencies is getting back to me and so far my ads are in competition with a million other sex workers who can afford to feature their profiles.

If anyone knows of any resources, or specifically Canadian/Toronto sex-worker oriented message boards where I can chat with other escorts about WTF to do, I would be beyond grateful. And if anyone reading this is personally and escort who is living in Toronto, your help would be such a big benefit to me.

Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope it didn't break any rules. xo.

Thank you so much !!

Happy to help. There was a sex worker forum that I used to go to every so often (I had friends in the business) but cannot remember it offhand so I hope these lead you there

This is really old post, but I thought I should point out that of all those sites, only www.cerb.ca would be the one with the most to offer anyone new.       Also for basic information there are sites for sex workers, like maggies, spoc, and a few others, found usually by google.   The only thing is most sites are regional, and you will find some have better city information than others, whether it concerns the law, or advertising or even avoiding problem clients.   At least two of the sites mentioned before are not good for that, the others are OK, and cerb is the best.
