India votes - 2009

The world's largest democracy votes next month and it appears that the result is uncertain, depending mostly on the results and willingness to join coalitions of smaller parties rather than on the main two.

Canada's next government

In order to pass laws, any minority government needs a parliamentary majority. Thus, no prime minister can continue to hold power without creating a formal, or (less often) informal coalition.
